March 15th 2041 : Recent progress in Zootechnics R&D lead to a major breakthrough and the production of an O.V.U.M. (Ovipary from Vivipary Utilitary Mutation) prototype.

It is, however, highly unstable and musn’t be removed from the incubator.

Whenever manipulating the prototype outside this incubator, it is advised to keep it from stress to prevent a heart attack. It seems to calm down with cajoling and caresses.

Ongoing tests will help determine if the prototype is self-aware or if these are only unconscious behaviors.

Zootechnics aims at creating animals with fast-growing muscles, fast breeding females giving birth to more children, fat/muscle ratio adapted to consumer’s taste.

In 2023:

To get these results, they’re fed with surgical accuracy which often leads them to develop digestive pathologies, resulting in necessity of antibiotics treatments

Piglets are mutilated without anhestesia (REDACTED) ridden of useless assets such as tails and teeth.

!ATTENTION! Since 1st January 2022, castration without anesthesia has been banned and must be performed by a veterinary (derogations are possible♥ and easy to obtain ♥)

Piglets judged too skinny -and thus unprofitable- are bashed against a hard surface to be slaughtered (A technique called « claquage » in french or « bashing » )

July 24th 2040 : Due to past sanity issues with dead meat, it’s been decided to maintain animals alive for as long as possible to diminish time between slaughter and consumption

To this effect and to avoid PR issues similar to 2012, processes of regular stunning has been designed : every employee hearing meat reacting to external stimuli must apply one strike of electrical baton.

Repeat operation if the problem persists.

While and after they give birth, sows are confined in gestation boxes so narrow they can’t even turn around which prevents them from satisfying their nesting instinct as they naturally would Help them find their place in a human world.

They are forcefully and repeatedly inseminated, brought to the wonders of birthgiving with the help of human technology.

Each litter of piglets is taken away from them after a few weeks then sent in fattening boxes before being sent to the slaughterhouse country farms.

The animals are suspended upside down by their backlegs and their throats are slit, sometimes without proper stunning. The meat is stored in ideal condition to get as tasty as possible with as much respect possible for our animal friend’s wellbeing

Around 25 millions pigs are killed raised this way each year in France.

<aside> 💡 To all employee : SPEAK TO A MANAGER BEFORE SPEAKING TO THE PRESS

It has been brought to our attention that employees were being exposed to various hazard due to not respecting the company guidelines.

As a reminder, company policies rest on transparency about the working condition from day one before the signature of the contracts.

Any problem with our process can be transmitted to management and doesn’t need external aid to be solved. HHF wants you to feel at home and listened to.

we’d also like to highlight the importance of keeping the lighting system in working order to avoid photosensitive animals to wander off and put themselves in danger (along with the employees)

Stay happy,

Management

<aside> 💡 Don’t show this to management

These testimonies have been heard from employees

Please transmit to the press, to anyone

This has to stop

“10 hours a day standing in the cold, humidity, shit, grease, smells. You end up your day broken. Dead.”

Noises (Screamings from animals, bangs from tools on metal) never stops but never stabilizes. Sound level can go over 100db (~=working jackhammer)

Cold can rigidify employees muscles, reducing their ability to articulate words and express through facial expressions*.*

“Chronometer is omnipotent”

Biggest slaughterhouses kill over 840 porks an hour.

These cadenzae don’t allow workers to face potential problems in the process. Any grain of sand in the gear can generate immense stress and, in many case, more suffering for both humans and animals.

“You get used to it”

“Used” doesn’t mean “insensitive” but more like “adapted” to the slaughterhouse mad god : cadenza. One killed beast every minute. This absurd rythm leads to both animal and human mistreatings : both are inseparable.
